Valerio Visconti aka Visconti was born in 2000 and, during the pandemic, writes his first album: “DPCM”, released on 18 March 2022 for the underground disks label: a poetic incursion traced between desolate provincial views, a cynical speculation on the present and condensed in anger for all that they had promised us and that was not so true. The album is included among the 50 best records of 2022. In his songs, the post-punk urgency finds an unusual mixture in the songwriter’s form, with lyrics that recount the attempt to find the province in the metropolis and normality in discomfort. The tour of the album, inaugurated in 2022, provides numerous dates around Italy in 2023, leads him to open for artists such as Verdena, Fulminacci, Fine before you came and Gazebo Penguins. In 2024 Visconti began to work on his new album, “Boy di ferro”, anticipated by the singles “Wandervogel”, “Salsa Rosa”, “Disordine”, “Sub Trema” and “Baptismo Oscuro”, always for Underground Disks and The Storm Disks.
