TAISTOI is the project born in the province of Milan by Andrea Esposito. The constant desire to experiment has generated eclectic sounds and contaminated by genres such as: jazz, alternatives, electronics, rnb and psych-pop. The name comes from the French tais-toi! - Shut up!- a rude and sharp exclamation that creates a visual-verbal contrast. The act of expression that imposes music becomes censored, The artist is forced to silence when his role is based on the use of the word. Portamento, is the first Taistoi EP released in 2022, travels off the track is an introspective path between aseptic mind and chaotic memory, capable of becoming the place of chaos, confusion and imagination. A place where you want to lose yourself. It tells the lost memories, found hidden and imagined in the meanders of that chaotic and phagocitating place that is our mind. Track by track accompanies the listener by elaborating the stages of emotional mourning through a process that has as its goal the transition of the individual. Bugie is the very first single extract from PORTAMENTO: the nostalgic pampering of a gentle wind after hours at sea in late afternoon. Following BUGIE, published in early September the second extract of PORTAMENTO was distributed. Verbal communication becomes obsolete through an intense mental connection, making everything sink into a dreamlike journey capable of replacing reality. WHEN FINISHES THE NIGHT is the single released for the compilation 2023 by MITB : a contest created in collaboration with Panico Concerti, Needn’t and Emilia Romagna Music Commission.In May, the victory of Music is the best, the scouting platform for new talents by Panico. He is currently in the studio to work on the release of his debut album.
