To write Liscio Gelli the Mariposa used the collaboration of Sicilian singer and author Daniele Calandra, already in the Addamanera, always friend and collaborator of the Mariposa universe in other collateral projects such as the Magazzeno Bis radio series produced between 2005 and 2009. Daniele is in effect a member of the band. On the record (and in the following concerts) there is another welcome return: Serena Altavilla regains possession of the microphone after collaborating with the band in 2012 for the autocover project "If anything Semiplaya" that Mariposa had recently presented at the Tenco Prize. Serena is also in effect part of the Mariposa Big Family. In 2011 Alessandro Fiori divided the way from his companions to devote himself to a solo career. For more than ten years the Mariposa (from the original trio formation with Alessandro Fiori to the voice and Michele Orvieti and Gianluca Giusti to the keyboards) have increased in number as well as the record releases. Enrico Gabrielli for the first time abandons classical music to record the first record Portobello Illusions; in Domino Dorelli (2002) comes drummer Enzo Cimino and guitarist Rocco Marchi and, with the six-tracking, Mariposa record all records until 2006. Since 2007 the band has been joined by the Bologna bassist and fantasist Valerio Canè (already in the 400 Hits) and seven Mariposa have the same name in 2009 and Semmai Semiplay in 2011, participating in the most important Italian festivals. With the publication of Liscio Gelli the Mariposa return to testify their version of the facts using the faculty to play.
