I amuncane and Paolo Angeli are two authoritative voices of contemporary Sardinia, whose collaboration began about four years ago on the occasion of the recordings of “Buio”, a song by Die. In their music, charged with ancestral elements and evocations difficult to catalogue in a musical genre, one breathes the island with all its stylistic facets.



It is a creative expression that paints avant-garde sound landscapes and, at the same time, brings back to the groove of the plough and to the minimal variations recorded in a tapestry made to the frame. Innovators with roots, Angels and Iosonouncane are an important example of how tradition must find, in the present society, an evolution of its archaic languages, placing itself in the difficult comparison with the present, without falling into the temptation of oleography. Theirs is a live music where noise and silence go hand in hand, where the force of a storm of maestral carries with it a risack able to cover the ports.
