Both from Sardinia and deeply linked to experimental folk and electronic music, IOSONOUNCANE and Daniela Pes are two of the most distinctive voices of the Italian music scene, ready to perform for the first time together in a collaborative live at the C2C Festival 2025.
Born in 1992 in Gallura and formed by a jazz background that gives it a total compositional freedom, Daniela Pes stands out as a figure outside the patterns in the contemporary musical landscape. One of its distinctive features is the original use of voice as a tool, along with a unique approach to textual dimension. On his acclaimed debut album Spira, he collaborated with IOSONOUNCANE, a musician from Buggerru with three successful albums. After drawing attention with the experimental lo-fi of La Macarena Su Roma (2010) and the innovative DIE (2015), IOSONOUNCANE further expanded his artistic vision with IRA—a monumental 17-track album that consolidates his role as composer and contemporary arranger, going beyond the boundaries of the traditional singer-songwriter and producer.
