Grandi Raga are a band formed by five young guys from the province of Arezzo, who in a short time have caught the attention of the music scene with an original approach to alternative rock.

But defining them with a single gender would be detractive towards the large capacities of each of the five components: In fact, they are born as multi-instrumentalists and all work together in the sometimes chaotic creative process that leads them to compose.

In 2021 the first three components were found and the last two were added as the years passed. The current line-up sees Christian as the lead voice and author of the lyrics, but also guitarist, like Cionco, who however also deals with the technical aspect of the recordings, then there is Gabriele who is drummer, Daniele on keyboards and finally Mattia, bassist. Although very young, they are characterized by an underground approach and an immediately recognizable eclectic style. Their passion for Tame Impala, Radiohead and Andrea Lazlo de Simone did not limit them in exploring new sound fields and in trying to always go a step outside their comfort zones.

But the lyrics are one of the characteristics that makes them particularly fascinating. Their songs deal with everyday themes and common situations, but always with a surreal look, capable of transforming the ordinary into extraordinary. Where reality seems trivial and often paradoxical, Grandi Raga explore it with a language that mixes irony, anger and melancholy, challenging those who listen to them to reflect on the absurdities of life.

In 2023 they released their first album "Astolfo tutto rose e fiori", a record that will take them to the most important places and stages of Tuscany.

In 2025 they released their second official album with Pluggers.
