Barkee Bay

Barkee Bay is a band from Brescia, formed by Giulio Barkee, Davide Tarragoni and Gabriele Consiglio. Raised on the edge of the Milanese metropolis, their music incorporates spontaneity and sincerity, the one that lives in Brescia in summer, with their feet in the lake or in the mountains of the valleys around. Thus their first EPs are born: “ SHOEFITI, ” published in December 2022 and “ SHOEFITI 2, ” published in March 2023, two photographs without filters that capture their hunger for life and experience. In April 2023 the Barkee Bay returned with the new single “Russian Roulette ” and announced a first official tour that touched many Italian cities and different festivals (including the MI AMI in Milan and the Oltre Festival in Bologna, opening at the Verdena).

In December 2023 they released the last single of this first track, the song “Those Like Us”. He exudes the desire to make noise and to leave a mark, that attitude typical of youth for which there is no room for regrets. The collective voice that takes up space in their pieces says that there is no time to brood, you have to act and go and get what you want to achieve. All wrapped in a veil of melancholy for the times that pass, for the changing situations and memories that fade, that leave that bitter sweet taste on the tip of the tongue, as when you look at a sunrise after an incredible evening and you realize that magic is about to end. In 2025 they released the two singles “ Wild ” and “ D.I.Y. ” that anticipate the debut record, “BACKPACKERS”.
