Anna and Vulkan was born in the province of Naples. The Volcano is a clear reference to Vesuvius, always present outside the window of his house and a constant symbol of the return home. Since she grew up surrounded by musical instruments for the profession of her father, musician and composer, and she listened to Lucio Dalla, Pino Daniele and Petrucciani in the many trips by car. It approaches the music slowly and quite independently, starting to play drums, one of the few instruments absent at home. He then begins to strum the guitar and piano as a self-taught and to write the first songs around the age of 15. At the same time he put together the Sonder group, where he participated as a drummer and singer and lived his first live experiences in small performances and regional competitions. With the Sonder produces an EP, “How do you feel”, in the entrance to his house. He then moved to Trieste, where he studied at the Scuola Interpreti and became passionate about languages and linguistics. After three years of university he moved to Vienna where he worked as Brand Designer and played in a new project, once again as a drummer. In Vienna, he began writing and producing his own songs playing guitar, drums, bass and keyboards. He approaches with more passion to Italian music, old and new, but continuing to explore the international scene. Listen to anything with interest, ranging from languages to different genres, from italodisco to reggaeton, passing through more intimate sounds and then ending up in jazz and pop indie.
